2. Scope

This policy applies to our website, the web app and the mobile app (iOS/Android) as well as related services.

3. What data we process

We process in particular the following categories of personal data:

• Account data: email address, name/display name, password (encrypted), language, subscription status.
• Usage data: tips viewed, settings, interactions, timestamps.
• Payment data: transaction and subscription data (card details themselves are processed by our payment providers, not stored by us).
• Device & log data: IP address, device/browser information, push token (mobile).
• Communication data: support requests, optional Telegram linking.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): providing your account, tips, subscriptions and features.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): e.g. push notifications, optional communication channels.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): security, fraud prevention, service improvement and stability.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): e.g. retention of payment records under commercial and tax law.

5. Recipients / processors

To provide our service we use carefully selected providers that process data on our behalf (processing under Art. 28 GDPR):

• Hosting/infrastructure (cloud operation of the platform).
• Database (MongoDB) for storing application data.
• Payment processing: Stripe as well as Apple App Store and Google Play (in-app purchases).
• Sports data: BetsAPI (live odds and match data).
• Login/authentication: Google (OAuth), if you sign in with it.
• Messaging/notifications: Telegram (only if linked), push services from Apple/Google.
• Email delivery for transactional messages.
• AI analysis services to generate tip analyses (no payment or password data is transmitted).

6. International data transfers

The controller is based in the USA, and some providers process data outside the EEA. Where data is transferred to third countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and, where applicable, your consent.

7. Cookies & local storage

We use technically necessary cookies and local storage (e.g. localStorage) for login, session and language settings. These are required for operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent.

8. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Account data is processed until you delete your account; payment and invoicing records are kept for the statutory retention periods (typically up to 10 years).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17).
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
• Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
• Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

10. Push notifications

In the mobile app we may, with your consent, send you push notifications (e.g. new tips). You can disable these at any time in your device or app settings.

11. No automated individual decision-making

Our tips and analyses are for information purposes only. There is no automated individual decision-making producing legal effects concerning you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

12. Minors

Our service is intended exclusively for adults (18+). We do not knowingly process data of minors.

13. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (e.g. transport encryption, password hashing, access controls) to protect your data.

14. Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy when the legal situation or our processing changes. The version published on this page applies.
